The 15th edition of the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup will be held in Odisha, India from January 13 to 29, 2023. The tournament will be played in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, where the 2018 edition was also held.
Hosts India will be looking for their first title since 1975, while defending champions Belgium will look to make it two in a row.

The Odisha government in 2018 signed a five-year agreement with Hockey India to host major events in the country and also work towards the development of the sport. In 2019, the location of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 was announced as India and the venue chosen was the state of Odisha.
The World Cup will be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela and the state government of Odisha serves as a Presenting Partner of the World Cup.
The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has been a partner of the Hockey Men’s World Cup since 2018. The OMC served as an Official Partner in 2018 and will be elevated to the role of a Host Partner for the 2023 edition. The corporation has been working with the Odisha state government to promote the development of the sport.
Hero MotoCorp has been a partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) since 2010. In 2013, both Hero and the FIH expanded their partnership, which saw Hero become an Official Sponsor of FIH events held in India.
In 2019, the location of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 was announced as India and the venue chosen was the state of Odisha.
The World Cup will be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela and the state government of Odisha serves as a Global Partner of the World Cup.
Infrastructural group JSW Group inked a partnership with the FIH in January 2023, coming on board as a Global Partner for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023.
The partnership has seen JSW acquire a host of branding rights across various FIH assets throughout the World Cup, along with on-ground signage.

The FIH Hockey Manager is a game developed by Gold Town Games, which serves as an official game of the FIH. The game was launched in October 2022 and gives fans the chance to manage their own hockey team virtually. Hockey Manager is also a Global Partner of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023.
Tata Steel signed an official memorandum of understanding with Hockey India in December 2022, joining as an Official Partner for the 2023 International Hockey Federation World Cup.
Involved in forestry, logging and related service activities, Kolkata-based Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd also serves as an Official Partner of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023.
Fantasy gaming platform Dream11 has been a partner of the International Hockey Federation since 2019. Dream11 currently operates the official fantasy games related to all FIH events.
The FIH signed a multi-year partnership with hockey equipment and fashion brand Osaka in January 2019. The partnership saw Osaka join as an FIH Global Supplier in the category of manufacturers and/or wholesale distributors of hockey sporting apparel and footwear and hockey equipment.
Sports surfaces firm Polytan has been a partner of the FIH since 1976. The FIH and Polytan extended their partnership most recently in October 2021. The extended three-year partnership sees Polyton continue to provide turfs for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Hockey 5s World Cup in 2024.
Indian water-based sports product Limca Sportz was signed on as an Official Supplier of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 following a partnership agreement with the International Hockey Federation in December 2022. The partnership sees Limca Sportz provide its beverage products to the players, officials, staff members, coaches, VIPs and other dignitaries at the venues of the World Cup.
A global leader in atmospheric drinking water devices, Watergen signed a partnership with Hockey India in December 2022, joining as an Official Supplier for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023. The partnership sees Watergen provide fresh, high quality, mineralised and safe drinking water created from ambient air to those at the World Cup venues.
Renowned Indian hospital chain Apollo Hospitals was announced as an Official Supplier of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 in December 2022. The partnership sees Apollo Hospitals provide its medical amenities at the venues for the World Cup.
