Formula E signs deal with Sony Pictures Networks India

Indian sports broadcasting entity Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has acquired the exclusive television and digital rights for Formula E following a three-year partnership agreement.

The deal will see SPNI broadcast all the races, practice sessions, and qualifying sessions of the tenth Formula E season via its TV channels as well as OTT platform SonyLIV. 

Sony India will also launch a behind-the-scenes series called Unplugged featuring Indian racer Jehan Daruvala, who is currently racing for Maserati MSG Racing.

This partnership guarantees that Indian fans will enjoy unparalleled access to Formula E content. This includes live coverage of every race on Sony’s linear and digital channels, featuring rookie driver and local favourite Jehan Daruvala and their home-grown team, Mahindra, who have been part of Formula E since the first season.
