Formula One and Fuji TV extend partnership

Formula One has extended its partnership with Fuji Television Network, INC, which will see the CS broadcasting service Fuji Television NEXT Live Premium continue broadcasting the F1 events till 2025.

Fuji TV will broadcast all the races, including Practice, Qualifying and Sprint events, on its Fuji TV NEXT LIVE Premium in Japan, starting from the pre-season testing in Bahrain.

The 2023 season will be the 37th year of Fuji Television broadcasting the FIA Formula One World Championship. 

Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation, Formula One, commented:

Japan has some of the most passionate Formula 1 fans in the world and this deal, along with the other arrangements we have in the market, will ensure that they will be able to keep track of all of the exciting action in 2023.

In order to meet the expectations of fans who want to enjoy the true thrill of Formula 1, we, Fuji TV will continue to provide complete live coverage of Formula 1 by all Sessions of all Events through the season as well as with those related programmes such as “F1GP News” on the pay channel “Fuji TV NEXT” and simultaneously on “Fuji TV NEXTsmart.
