ICC expands Nissan partnership for 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a sponsorship extension agreement with car manufacturing firm Nissan Motor India, which will see the latter serve as the Official Sponsor of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

This will be the seventh consecutive year that the ICC partners with Nissan. Nissan India will promote the World Cup via a virtual trophy tour during the tournament. Fans will also have the chance to access the World Cup trophy virtually through 3D augmented reality filters across Nissan’s social media handles.

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented:

Nissan is delighted to continue our successful association with one of the most loved sporting events in the world as the official sponsor, with the Big, Bold, Beautiful Nissan Magnite as the official car of the event. The Nissan Magnite continues to be the preferred choice of vehicle for customers in India and across 15 export markets and is the natural choice for the official car of the event.

The partnership expansion will also see the Nissan Magnite SUV serve as the Official Car of the World Cup.
