InsuranceDekho becomes sponsor of India’s upcoming Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe tours

Indian insurtech platform InsuranceDekho has signed sponsorship agreements for the upcoming Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka tours of the Indian men’s national cricket team.

InsuranceDekho will hold the title of the Co-Presenting Sponsor for Team India’s T20I tour of Zimbabwe, while it will serve as the Title Sponsor of their Sri Lankan tour.

India head to Harare, Zimbabwe, for a three-match T20I tour starting July 23, 2026, with the third and final match scheduled for July 26, 2026. After that, the Men in Blue will travel to Sri Lanka for a two-Test series, with the first Test starting on August 15, 2026, and being held in Galle and the second Test taking place in Colombo and starting on August 23, 2026.

Ashley De Silva, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, said:

Sri Lanka Cricket welcomes InsuranceDekho as the title sponsor of the upcoming Test series between India and Sri Lanka. We value partnerships that inspire participation and promote inclusivity, both of which are essential to developing a strong cricketing culture.”

Ankit Agrawal, CEO and Co-Founder of InsuranceDekho, commented:

Everything we do comes down to backing people, so they move forward without fear. Our mission is to take insurance deeper into Bharat and we get there by trusting and empowering our advisors, who in turn help crores of families in the country’s smallest towns protect what matters most. Standing behind Team India is that same belief on its biggest stage: when someone has your back, you chase your ambition without fear. That is what ‘Bharat, Khul Kar Khelo’ means.

Former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly, who is a brand ambassador for InsuranceDekho, added:

As a captain, I learnt that a team plays fearlessly only when it knows someone is behind it. That’s exactly what InsuranceDekho does – for its advisors, for families, and now for Team India. I’m proud that Bharat, Khul Kar Khelo travels with the team on these tours.
