Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, commonly referred to as Inter Miami CF, have announced a partnership with Mondelez International, an American multinational confectionery, food, and beverage conglomerate.
The multi-year partnership will see Mondelez become the Official Snacking Partner of the Floridian Major League Soccer (MLS) club.
As per the deal, Mondelez’s brands will acquire branding rights and work on various fan engagement activities with the club. The partnership will work towards supporting local businesses, with Inter Miami fans standing a chance to engage at in-store events and have exclusive snack experiences, among other things.
Additionally, Mondelez brand RITZ will gain major exposure to kick off the partnership, with the former working with Upright City FC, a non-profit organisation, to host various community events.
Euan Warren, Inter Miami CF Vice President of Partnership, commented:
“At Inter Miami, we pride ourselves on building partnerships that celebrate our vibrant community and enrich the fan experience. Teaming up with Mondel?z allows us to bring moments of joy both on and off the pitch. Together, we’re creating opportunities for fans to connect, celebrate, and make lasting memories with their favorite snacks and favorite team.”
Tanya Berman, SVP Biscuits, added:
“We’re fired up to head down to South Florida, and to celebrate the energy of this incredible community. For decades, Mondel?z products have been at the heart of family gatherings and gameday traditions. Through this partnership, we’re excited to welcome in a new generation of soccer and snack fans, while making a real difference in the places we call home.“
