FC Internazionale Milano, commonly referred to as “Inter Milan”, have announced a new partnership with energy firm Enel, which thus becomes the Milanese professional football club’s Official Energy Partner on a three-year deal.
The deal will see Enel gain branding presence at the Inter Milan senior men’s team home ground, the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (commonly known as “San Siro”), with its logo present on the sidelines, giant screens, and backdrops used for both pre- and post-match interviews.
Enel will also work with the club, providing them its range services and solutions, to help them transition from electricity to renewable energy sources.
Luca Danovaro, Chief Revenue Officer, FC Internazionale Milano, said:
“It is a pleasure for us to welcome Enel into the Nerazzurri family of partners. We are happy that a sector-leading brand such as Enel has chosen Inter to consolidate their presence in the footballing world, recognising that our Club shares their attitude towards innovation in every area.”
Roberto Deambrogio, Head of Communications, Enel, added:
“The collaboration with FC Internazionale Milano represents a shared commitment that unites the worlds of energy and football with one common goal: sustainability. Today we are making a great step alongside one of the major Italian teams to be able to offer an increasingly wide audience our entire portfolio of services and products that we have designed to make people’s energy choices simpler and more advantageous.“
