Jack Doohan announced as Alpine Reserve Driver

Australian Formula 2 racer Jack Doohan has been announced as the Reserve Driver for French Formula One team Alpine.

Doohan, who will be competing for Virtuosi Racing in the 2023 Formula 2 season, will be competing in his third season with the team. The Australian, who is a previous member of the Red Bull Junior Programme, joined the Alpine family in 2022. 

Doohan took part in multiple Formula One sessions for Alpine during the 2022 season. He took part in the Mexican Grand Prix Free Practice 1 session and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Free Practice 1 session as well.
