Former cricketer Kevin Pietersen has announced a partnership with Google, which will see the latter work with the Englishman on a new content series on his YouTube channel, “The Switch”.

The cricket-focused series will feature interviews and fan-oriented content, with the first episode being released on May 4, 2026.

The partnership will see Pietersen use Google Gemini for research, content development, and script work, with YouTube serving as the main distribution platform.

The new series is set to feature a host of former and current cricketers, including the likes of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Suresh Raina, Jonty Rhodes, Harbhajan Singh, Trent Boult, Priyansh Arya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, David Miller, Shreyas Iyer, Devdutt Padikkal, Kagiso Rabada, Sunil Narine, Heinrich Klaasen, and more.

On his team-up with Google, Kevin Pietersen, commented:

Today, The Switch is partnering with Google Gemini to redefine how cricket is experienced by fans around the world. YouTube is the epicentre of cricket fandom – it’s where the game lives, breathes and connects people globally – and The Switch sits right at the heart of that. Gemini has become a real creative teammate for me – it allows us to move faster, think bigger, and give fans something they haven’t seen before. For me, this is about pushing the boundaries of how cricket is shared and experienced.
