Major League Soccer (MLS) side Los Angeles FC (LAFC) have roped in consumer commerce platform DoorDash as their Official On-Demand Delivery Platform.
As per the agreement, DoorDash will work with LAFC to increase awareness about food insecurity faced by residents and families throughout Los Angeles by hosting food drives and other community-focused events to deliver meals and groceries to support those in need.
Larry Freedman, Co-President and Chief Business Officer, Los Angeles FC, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome DoorDash to the Black & Gold family for what promises to be another historic season for LAFC. DoorDash has proven to be a leader in innovation and a tremendous community partner in Los Angeles, and we are excited to join forces to form an impactful partnership.“
Donna Lupton, Director of Cultural Partnerships, DoorDash, added:
“We’ve found a great partner in LAFC – an organisation that shares our vision for empowering local communities, creating impactful fan experiences, and making a difference both on and off the field. We are excited to be the Official On-Demand Delivery Platform of LAFC and look forward to collaborating meaningfully this season and beyond.“
