LaLiga-Cabreiroá partnership announced

Cabreiroá joins as the Official Water of LaLiga.

The official governing body of the top two Spanish professional football tiers, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (National Professional Football League), has signed a partnership with Galician mineral water brand Cabreiroá, which will see the latter become an Official Sponsor and the Official Water of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga Smartbank and LaLiga Genuine Santander.

The partnership will see Cabreiroá provide its mineral water at all of the leagues’ stadiums. Additionally, Cabreiroá’s branding will also be visible at those stadiums.

Óscar Mayo, CEO of LaLiga, commented:

This alliance allows two leading brands such as Cabreiroá and LaLiga to share synergies. Thanks to her, we are both going to continue reinforcing two of our hallmarks, our commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

Santiago Miguélez, the Marketing Director, Iberia for Hijos de Rivera, added:

The progression and growth of LaLiga in recent years makes us convinced that this agreement will be another boost for Cabreiroá’s national growth and will reinforce its positioning linked to the hydration of athletes.

Cabreiroá previously was a LaLiga partner during the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons. It currently also serves as a partner to RC Celta, SD Ponferradina and Real Valladolid.
