Lidl partners with UEFA for Women’s EURO 2025

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the official governing body of football in Europe, has teamed up with German grocery store chain Lidl, roping it in as an Official Partner for Women’s EURO 2025.

The deal will see Lidl promote equality in the game and host various fan engagement activities.

UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 is scheduled to kick off from July 2 next year, with the final set to be held on July 27. The entire tournament will be taking place in Switzerland.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, commented:

As one of Europe’s leading food retailers, Lidl is an ideal partner to help us bring the energy and excitement of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 to an even broader audience. We are delighted to build on our successful partnership with Lidl from UEFA EURO 2024 into UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 so we can continue to harness the power of football to inspire healthy lifestyles and the next generation of women’s football.

Together, we’re championing the power of sport to bring people together and inspire communities across Europe. As a company, we are closely connected to Europe and excited that 14 of the over 30 countries in which Lidl is present will participate in this tournament.
