Luka Modric: Current endorsements

Konzum

Konzum is Croatia’s largest supermarket chain with over 700 stores throughout the country and more than 10,000 employees.

In May 2024, Konzum roped in their national football team captain as the exclusive brand ambassador ahead of UEFA Euro 2024. 

Snickers

Snickers is a chocolate bar brand owned by American multinational company Mars Inc.

In March 2024, Snickers launched an ad campaign featuring both Modric and England star Bukayo Saka. 

Lino

In December 2023, the Real Madrid CF legend was announced as the official brand ambassador of Lino, a cereal brand for children owned by Croatian multinational company Podravka. 

Nike

Modric has a long-term partnership agreement in place with Nike, the world’s largest sportswear and apparel brand, which provides him with boots, apparel, and equipment. He has also featured in many advertisements and campaigns for the company over the years.

The Croatian midfielder currently wears the Nike Mercurial Vapor 14 cleats for all his club and international games.

EA Sports

EA Sports is a division of Electronic Arts that develops and publishes sports video games. For its EA Sports FC football game series (formerly EA Sports FIFA), the company has Modric on board as one of the brand ambassadors for the games. 

Hublot

Modric is also a brand ambassador of Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot and wears its watches and attends its events.

SofaScore

SofaScore, a Croatia-based sports data company which provides live scores and player data, announced Modric as its first-ever brand ambassador in May 2022. 

Revolut

Founded in 2015, Revolut is a global neo-bank and fintech company with headquarters in London, the UK, that offers banking services for retail customers and businesses.

Modric was roped in as a brand ambassador by Revolut in July 2022. 

Ethernity

Ethernity (ERN) is a blockchain-based platform that produces Authenticated Non-Fungible Tokens (ANFTs).

In January 2022, Modric announced that he had joined hands with the crypto platform, with the latter also launching specialised Modric-themed NFTs. 

Lunilou

Lunilou is an eco-friendly organic clothes and baby-clothing retailer.

In December 2021, the clothing brand roped in both Modric and Mateo Kovacic as brand ambassadors. 

OlyBet

OlyBet, part of Olympic Entertainment Group, is one of Europe’s leading sports entertainment, sports betting, online games, and gambling brands.

In December 2021, the betting platform signed up Modric as a brand ambassador. 

Gillette

Gillette is an American brand of safety razors and other personal care products owned by Procter & Gamble (P&G).

The Croatia men’s national football team skipper used to serve as one of the company’s spokespersons while also promoting its products through various initiatives. 

Pepsi

Modric also used to be an official Pepsi endorser and appeared in many of its commercial ad campaigns. 

Groupe Lactalis

Groupe Lactalis, a French multinational dairy products corporation owned by the Besnier family, is the largest dairy products group in the world and the second-largest food products group in France behind Danone.

Modric used to endorse Lactalis products quite early on in his career. 

Luka Modric: Business Ventures and Investments

Hotel Noemia

Luka Modric is the co-owner of Hotel Noemia, a four-star hotel in Zadar, Croatia, which he opened in 2019. The hotel has 24 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a spa, and a pool. According to some media reports, the Croatian skipper invested €1.5 million in the hotel, which is managed by his brother-in-law.

Luka Modric Academy

Modric is also the co-owner of Luka Modric Academy, a football academy in Zagreb which he launched in 2020.

The academy offers training, coaching, and education for young footballers aged 6 to 18. Having started the academy with an investment of €500,000, it is currently run by his former teammates and coaches.

Sportening

Sportening was founded in 2020 by Croatian entrepreneur Ivan Klaric as an advanced messaging app with AI-driven content for sports fans.

In February 2022, the sports social networking platform announced that it raised an investment of €6 million, with a significant part of it coming from Modric.
