Manchester City announce new deal with WeWork

WeWork joins as Official Workplace partner.

Manchester City and their sister club New York City FC have joined hands together to sign a new partnership with co-working company WeWork that sees the company become the Official Workplace Partner of Manchester City and an Official Partner of New York City FC.

As part of the deal, Manchester City employees will have access to all WeWork office spaces in the United Kingdom and Singapore along with any additional workspaces across the world, with WeWork letting Manchester City set up two permanent offices in London and Singapore.

As the City Football Group work towards building a sustainable and socially responsible organisation at the top of its field, they understand the need of building a strong and flexible working environment and along with WeWork, they strive to achieve the same.

WeWork will also provide access passes to New York City FC employees to its offices in New York and worldwide, giving the employees the opportunity to work from any of their preferred locations globally.

Speaking about the partnership, City Football Group’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Stephan Cieplik, said:

We are delighted to welcome WeWork as a new partner of Manchester City and New York City FC.

As part of an organisation operating globally, it is important we provide access to high-quality, flexible facilities for our staff to help us harness innovation, collaboration and drive success.

The team at WeWork has impressed us with their commitment to our shared values, solutions and facilities and we look forward to working with them throughout the partnership.

Roger Solé, Chief Marketing Officer of WeWork, added:
