Manchester City FC announce partnership with Hytro

Manchester City Football Club have announced a global partnership with Hytro, a manufacturer of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearables, roping it in as an Official Global Partner of their women’s team.

The partnership will see Man City Women use Hytro wearables and technology to improve athletic performance and recovery. The two parties will also work together on joint research initiatives and explore the impact of BFR on recovery and performance in women’s football.

Charlotte O’Neill, Managing Director of Manchester City Women, commented:

As an ambitious team consistently challenging across multiple competitions for major titles, it’s great to be able to partner with a brand that’s equally committed to athletic performance and delivering results. The women’s game continues to grow and the demand on our players is forever evolving. In addition to ensuring our squad can compete week in, week out with some of the best teams in the world, we’re also always looking for ways to innovate and adapt to remain at the forefront of the women’s game. We’re looking forward to working with Hytro to continue evolving and improving our recovery strategies.

Dr Warren Bradley, Founder and Head of Elite Performance at Hytro, added:

I’m really excited about our partnership with Manchester City Women’s Football Club, one of the most formidable teams in the sport! As the founder of Hytro, I couldn’t be prouder and more excited to see our BFR products being used by some of the best female athletes in the world, in such an iconic organisation. It’s a huge milestone for us as a business to be supporting a team of this calibre, and it speaks to the trust from coaches like Dan and Charlie in Hytro’s products and our ability to help enhance performance.

I’m confident we can play a key role in helping the team recover faster, train harder, and perform at their best, and I’ll continue to enjoy being in close contact with the performance team to support their needs.
