Big Bash League (BBL) team Melbourne Stars have signed a new partnership agreement with dermatologically developed skincare and sun protection brand, La Roche-Posay, who has joined the Melbourne Stars’ men’s and women’s teams as their Official Sunscreen Partner. The deal will see La Roche-Posay use the platform to raise awareness about sun safety and will have their products present at all of the Stars’ home games. The Stars and La Roche-Posay will work on various campaigns to educate the spectators about skin cancer warning signs.
Max Abbott, General Manager, Melbourne Stars, commented,
“Every cricket participant at every level of the game must be diligent when it comes to sun protection. We are delighted to partner with La Roche-Posay to help us reinforce this important message and also provide our players with a quality product from a world-leading brand.”
Hannah Audas, Marketing Director, La Roche-Posay, commented,
“Our collaboration with the Melbourne Stars represents a fantastic alignment of values bringing together La Roche-Posay’s unwavering commitment to skin health and protection with the Stars’ dedication to peak performance and community engagement. Just as the Melbourne Stars are focused on excellence on the field, we are passionate about providing dermatological solutions that support healthy, protected skin, especially for those active, outdoors under the Australian sun.”
