Mercedes F1 partner with Mind

Formula One team Mercedes have announced British mental health charity Mind as their Official Team Charity for the 2023 and 2024 F1 season.

As per the deal, the German team will work towards raising funds for Mind.

Sarah Hughes, CEO of Mind, commented:

We are delighted that Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team has chosen to support Mind as their next charity partner. The fall-out from the coronavirus pandemic, combined with the current cost-of-living crisis, is having a devastating effect on our mental health, especially for those of us with existing mental health problems. It is so important in these incredibly challenging times that we can all get the mental health support we need when we need it.

The funds and awareness generated through this partnership will help us to continue to provide advice, information, and support, including through services like the Mind Infoline and Side by Side, so that no one has to face a mental health problem alone. It will also allow us to campaign for change so that everyone is treated fairly, positively and with respect. We are excited to work with Mercedes over the coming months and to see what we can achieve for mental health.
