In September 2021, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Aura, a Boston, Massachusetts-based provider of digital security for consumers.
The deal makes Aura the Official Digital Security Provider of the Timberwolves and includes the title of season presenting partner, in-arena and on-court signage, and Official Jersey Patch Partner designation.
In October 2021, the Timberwolves announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Betway.
The deal sees Betway’s branding feature prominently on the court, including the court apron, and on top of the backboard in addition to LED and TV-visible signage inside Target Center, the Timberwolves home ground.
AAWOL is an athlete-focused sportswear company. In October 2021, it announced a multi-year partnership agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
To kick-start the partnership, AAWOL launched one-of-a-kind designs unique to the city of Minneapolis. There was also an exclusive T-shirt giveaway to inaugurate the partnership when the Timberwolves faced the Golden State Warriors in January 2022.
The partnership includes a range of co-branded products, quarterly “Item of the Game” giveaways, marketing elements, and a social content series. AAWOL also creates and designs exclusive retail items that are sold across official Timberwolves stores.
In October 2021, the Timberwolves announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Tornado, a digital brokerage company based out of New York.
As per the deal, Tornado acts as the presenting partner of the Timberwolves’ “College Night” platform and has its branding included in all Timberwolves marketing collaterals and in-arena promotions.
In August 2021, the Timberwolves announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Socios.com, making the crypto-based fan engagement platform its official blockchain partner.
Having kicked off with the start of the 2021/22 season, the deal grants Socios.com digital presence and TV-visible signage across Timberwolves assets. It also entails custom fan polls presented by Socios.com for matters like choosing the warm-up music and unique gameday giveaways across official Timberwolves social channels.
In February 2021, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced a three-year partnership agreement with Tanduay Asian Rum, on-boarding it as their official rum partner.
The partnership includes a special experience inside Target Center, with custom-branded packaging at retail locations along with in-arena branding rights.
Anheuser-Busch InBev, a multinational drink and brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium, is also an official Timberwolves sponsor. The partnership sees its light beer Michelob Ultra feature prominently across the team’s social media promotional segments and other digital assets.
The Timberwolves announced their association with Hy-Vee in November 2017, roping it in as their official grocery, pharmacy, and floral partner.
As per the deal, the West Des Moines, Iowa-based supermarket chain enjoys brand visibility through digital signage at Target Center, while also featuring across the team’s social media handles and other digital assets. Hy-Vee also acts as the presenting partner of the “starting five” creatives posted across the Timberwolves’ official social media channels.
Target, an American retail corporation, is the naming rights partner of the Timberwolves.
The deal sees the Timberwolves home be called “Target Center”, with the Minneapolis, Minnesota-headquartered discount department store chain also enjoying brand presence across the team’s social media platforms and other digital assets.
The Timberwolves announced their partnership with iHeartMedia in September 2023, having signed an exclusive, multi-year streaming and radio partnership agreement with the San Antonio, Texas-based mass media corporation.
As per the agreement, KFAN FM 100.3 acts as the flagship radio station of the Timberwolves, who are the first-ever basketball side to have a dedicated channel on the iHeartMedia platform. The deal also sees the two parties come together for player interviews and other marketing and promotional campaigns.
Delta Dental, an American network of dental insurance companies, is listed as an official partner of the Minnesota Timberwolves on their official website and thus gains brand visibility across all their social media platforms and other digital assets.
Mayo Clinic, an American non-profit academic medical centre, has been the naming rights partner of the Timberwolves’ practice facility since 2016.

Korean food brand Bibigo is also an official Timberwolves partner and prominently features across their social media platforms and other digital assets.
Before the commencement of the 2023/24 NBA season, the Timberwolves announced that Bally Sports would broadcast their matches on regional and national television for an eighth consecutive season.
As per the deal, 80 regular season games and two pre-season games of the team are made available to viewers through Bally Sports North and Bally Sports North Extra. These games are also streamed on the Bally Sports app and Bally Sports+.
St. Louis, Missouri-based global digital consultancy Perficient announced a partnership agreement with the Timberwolves in October 2023.
As per the deal, Perficient offers the team various forms of corporate engagement.
