Global cruise operator MSC Cruises has strengthened its partnership with Formula One and is set to act as the Title Sponsor of three races during the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship.
This year, MSC Cruises will be sponsoring the Austrian, United States, and Brazilian Grands Prix, further building on its partnership with Formula One which first kicked off in 2022.
With MSC Cruises as Title Sponsor, the aforementioned three races will therefore be known formally as: the MSC Cruises Austrian Grand Prix, the MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix, and the MSC Cruises Grande Premio de São Paulo. This is the first time these events will be title-sponsored by MSC Cruises.
The 2025 Austrian GP is scheduled for June 29 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, while the US Grand Prix will be hosted on October 19 at the Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas, and the São Paulo GP on November 9 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Interlagos.
The deal will also see MSC Cruises’ luxury travel brand Explora Journey enjoy brand presence at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix, with the ship EXPLORA II set to be present at the Port Hercule in Monaco during the race weekend and host various fan activities, including guest retreats.
An MSC Cruises spokesperson released a statement on the matter, which read as follows:
“The collaboration between the two world-class brands reflects Formula 1’s continuing global growth and the continued popularity of cruising as a holiday choice.“
