Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) announced a strategic partnership agreement with Methodist Healthcare in March 2017, which designated it as the Official Healthcare Partner of the Spurs and other SS&E franchises.
Since then, there have been two separate contract renewals: one in 2020, and the other in 2022.
As part of the partnership, SS&E teams have access to Methodist Healthcare’s team of experts, nutritionists, physicians, and facilities in order to help address injury prevention, physical rehabilitation, and provision of care for their players, coaches, and staff.
Valero Energy Corporation, an American downstream petroleum company, has been associated with the San Antonio Spurs as an official partner since 2014.
Humble House, a San Antonio-based sauce and ketchup producer, was roped in in December 2023 as an official partner of the Spurs.
As part of the deal, Humble House, in partnership with the Spurs, launched a new signature “Por Vida” hot sauce.

South Padre Island, a small resort town on the southern tip of Padre Island off the coast of Texas, signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Spurs in November 2023, becoming in the process their Official Island Escape Partner. The partnership kicked off with the commencement of the 2023/24 NBA season.
The partnership entails South Padre Island featuring a multitude of digital and in-arena elements, including concourse displays and digital endcaps. The Spurs also host social media campaigns to offer their fans unique experience opportunities at South Padre Island.
The Spurs announced a multi-year jersey patch partnership agreement with Self Financial, a credit-building fintech company based in Austin, Texas, in June 2022.
As a part of the deal, the Spurs also acquired an equity stake in the company.
Self takes an active role in SS&E’s community impact efforts. Together, the two organisations have launched an annual US$10,000 “Building Dreams Award”, which is presented to a leader of a local non-profit or community impact organisation. The Spurs have also launched Building Dreams officially presented by Self, which is a content series made available on their digital and linear media channels featuring future stars of the Austin Spurs and San Antonio Spurs.
Victory Capital, a Texas-based investment management firm, became the naming rights partner for the new Spurs Performance Center back in January 2023 on a multi-year deal.
In accordance with the deal, the Victory Capital logo is prominently featured atop the Spurs Performance Center and is also incorporated into other areas throughout the facility, including the practice courts. Off the court, Victory Capital and the Spurs collaborate on programmes to promote financial wellness in the San Antonio community.
Founded by a University of Texas at San Antonio student back in 2006, energy drink company NERD Focus became the official energy drink partner of the Spurs in March 2023.
The partnership includes various television and arena branding signage displays as well as a presence on the Spurs social media accounts. Fans also get the opportunity to visit the branded NERD Focus Drink MKT that is open at Section 122 at Frost Bank Center.
VivaAerobus, a major Mexican low-cost airline, became an official sponsor of the San Antonio Spurs in January 2022 after agreeing to a multi-year partnership deal, making this the first association for VivaAerobus with a US professional sports team.
As part of the deal, VivaAerobus unveiled a Spurs-branded Airbus A320 later that year.
As per the deal, VivaAerobus is integrated into advertising, Spanish-language radio promotions, and TV-visible signage throughout Frost Bank Center during Spurs home games. The Spurs and VivaAerobus also collaborate to promote their partnership across social channels.
