Nissan teams up with NBA

Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has inked a new sponsorship agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the pre-season games of the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards. Nissan will serve as the co-presenting partner for the NBA Japan Games 2022.

The sponsorship deal will see Nissan gain in-venue and on-court advertising rights during the two teams’ pre-season games in Japan. Additionally, there will also be various fan activations and unique fan experiences heading into the games, which will be held on September 30 and October 2, 2022. Nissan will also host various campaigns which will include sweepstakes and ticket giveaways.

The events will also have appearances by Wizards and Warriors players, NBA legends and other celebrity guests. A slam-dunk contest featuring professional dunkers will also be held along with musical performances by Japanese pop duo Yuzu.

Aside from the NBA, Nissan most recently also partnered with LaLiga.
