Norway national football team sponsors 2023

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across Norway’s men’s and/or women’s national football teams’ physical and digital assets as sponsors and partners of the Norwegian Football Federation.

Official Partners

Equinor

Equinor is a Norwegian state-owned multinational energy company headquartered in Stavanger. It is primarily a petroleum company operating in 36 countries.

Equinor and the NFF first collaborated for a partnership in 1993 and have continued working ever since. Currently, Equinor is the collaboration partner and a main sponsor for all age-specific national teams of the NFF. 

Norsk Tipping

Norsk Tipping is a Norwegian gambling company headquartered in Hamar, Norway. Founded in 1948, Norsk Tipping is owned by the Norwegian government and administered by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture.

In January 2021, Norsk Tipping announced the signing of a three-year partnership agreement deal with the NFF. As per the deal, the state-owned gaming company serves as a main sponsor to the NFF.

Telenor

Telenor is a Norwegian majority state-owned multinational telecommunications company headquartered at Fornebu in Bærum, close to Oslo. It is one of the world’s largest mobile telecommunications companies but has a majority of its operations focused in Scandinavia and Asia.

Telenor has been associated with the NFF for a number of years now. It serves as a main sponsor to its senior women’s team, a part sponsor to its senior men’s team, as well as the title sponsor to its esports team. 

Nike

Nike is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and services. It is the world’s largest athletic footwear and apparel manufacturer in the world. 

In 2014, Nike signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the NFF, becoming its official apparel partner. In 2020, the two parties expanded their association, with Nike becoming a collaboration partner and equipment supplier to all NFF-affiliated national teams until the end of 2026. 

Kiwi Mini Pris

Owned by NorgesGruppen, a Norwegian wholesaling company, Kiwi is a Scandinavian supermarket chain that has 690 retail outlets in Norway.

Kiwi Mini Pris has in place with the NFF an ongoing three-year collaboration agreement that sees it serve as a part sponsor to its senior women’s team as well as a partner to its sustainability projects. 

Thon Hotels

Thon Hotels is a Norwegian hotel chain that operates numerous hotels across Norway as well as in other countries. It offers a range of accommodation options, from budget-friendly to luxury hotels, catering to both leisure and business travellers. It is currently the third-largest hotel chain in Norway with over 50 hotels across Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands.

In January 2023, Thon Hotels became a collaboration partner of the NFF as well as a sponsor of the Norwegian Championship (Cupen) by signing a three-year deal, with the option to extend it for a further two years. The Oslo-based hotel chain is also the supplier of hotel services for the NFF.

DNB

DNB is a Norwegian financial services group that operates as a commercial bank. It is one of the largest banks in Norway and provides a wide range of financial products and services to individuals, businesses and institutional clients.

DNB signed a three-year deal with the NFF, becoming its collaborative partner and a part sponsor of its senior women’s team, in January 2023. 

Gjensidige

Gjensidige Forsikring is a Norwegian insurance company. Founded in 1816, Gjensidige is one of the largest insurance groups in the Nordic region and offers a wide range of insurance products and services to individuals, families and businesses.

In January 2023, Gjensidige Forsikring and the NFF signed a four-year partnership agreement, which made the former a collaboration partner of the NFF, a part sponsor of its senior men’s team, and the main sponsor of mascots of both the senior women’s and men’s teams until 2026.

Unisport

Unisport is a well-known Danish online retailer and supplier of sports equipment, apparel and footwear, specialising in football products. Founded in 1995, Unisport operates primarily through its e-commerce platform, providing a wide range of football-related items to customers worldwide.

Unisport, together with Nike, agreed to a six-year partnership deal with the NFF in March 2020. The deal makes Unisport a strategic partner that looks to promote and grow the strong football culture in Norway.

Canon

Canon is a multinational corporation based in Japan that specialises in the manufacturing of imaging and optical products. Founded in 1937, Canon has grown to become one of the world’s leading companies in the field of imaging technology. 

Although the exact date of the signing of this deal isn’t public, as per the NFF’s official website, Canon is a collaborative partner and supplier of print and document solutions to the federation. 

DB Schenker

DB Schenker is an international logistics and transportation firm that offers a variety of services to assist the supply chains of companies in several sectors. It belongs to the German industry leader in logistics and transportation Deutsche Bahn.

The exact date of the signing of this deal isn’t public, however, as per the NFF’s official website, DB Schenker is its official transport/logistics partner (primarily abroad), while also carrying out its role as a contributor towards the NFF’s sustainability projects. 

Media Partner

NRK

NRK, which stands for Norsk rikskringkasting (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation), is a public broadcasting company based in Norway. It is the country’s largest media organisation and is funded by a licence fee paid by Norwegian residents who own a television or radio receiver.

NRK is the media partner with display rights around the Norway women’s national football team as well as the Norwegian Championship for both men and women.

Suppliers

CTC Bilpartner

CTC Bilpartner is a Norwegian car dealership group that was founded in 1994. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has a network of dealerships across the country. Over the years, CTC Bilpartner has gone on to become one of the biggest car suppliers in the country.

In April 2023, CTC Bilpartner signed a three-year deal with the NFF reportedly worth 10 million kr (Norwegian Krone) per year, with the option to extend the deal for a further two years. 

As per the deal, CTC Bilpartner serves as the official car partner to the NFF as well as a number of its affiliated organisations, such as the Norwegian Premier League and the Norwegian Cup. CTC Bilpartner also works with the NFF to develop and deliver a number of projects to promote football in the country.

ProfilSport

Founded in 1994, ProfilSport is a Norwegian company that designs, manufactures and distributes sportswear and equipment.

In March 2023, ProfilSport and the NFF signed a three-year deal reportedly worth 15 million kr per year. As per the deal, ProfilSport serves as the official technical partner to the governing body as well as a number of other NFF-affiliated organisations, such as the Norwegian Premier League and the Norwegian Cup.

Molte

Founded in 2019, Molte is a Norwegian start-up company that develops and manufactures sports drinks.

In February 2023, Molté and the NFF signed a five-year deal reportedly worth 10 million kr per year that is set to run until the end of 2028. 

As per the deal, Molte is the exclusive provider of sports drinks to the NFF and a number of NFF-affiliated organisations, such as the Norwegian Premier League and the Norwegian Cup.

Escape Travel

Founded in 2005, Escape Travel is a Norwegian tour operator that offers a wide range of travel services, including group travel, tailor-made individual travel, river cruises, cruises, sports trips, solo travels, active travel, small group journeys, corporate travel/MICE and FIT travellers. 

In January 2023, Escape Travel and the NFF signed a three-year deal with the option to extend for a further two years. As per the deal, Escape Travel serves as the official travel partner to the NFF, providing it travel services including flights, accommodation and ground transportation. 

NTB

NTB is a Norwegian news agency and wire service that serves most of the largest Norwegian media outlets. It is located in Oslo and has bureaus in Brussels in Belgium and Tromsø in northern Norway. Established in 1867, NTB is one of the major players in the Norwegian media landscape.

In January 2023, NTB and the NFF signed a three-year deal with the option to extend it for a further two years. The deal sees the two organisations collaborate on a number of projects. NTB is the official news agency of the NFF. It is also the exclusive provider of news and images to the NFF. 

Sponsor Insight

Founded in 2005, Sponsor Insight is a Norwegian company that specialises in research and consulting in the field of sponsorship and sports marketing. It is a leading provider of sponsorship research and consulting services in Norway. 

In January 2023, Sponsor Insight and the NFF signed a three-year deal, which saw the former become the official sponsorship intelligence partner of the NFF. As per the deal, Sponsor Insight also works with the NFF to create a number of educational resources pertaining to the sponsorship.

Gant Footwear

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Gant Footwear is a Swedish footwear brand that was founded in 2004. 

In February 2023, Gant Footwear and the NFF signed a five-year deal, which made the former the official footwear partner of the NFF. 

The deal is reportedly worth an estimated 15 million kr per year. Gant Footwear is also responsible for developing a new footwear line specifically for the NFF.

HMK Class

Founded in 1873, HMK Class is a Norwegian bus company headquartered in Oslo, Norway. It is the oldest passenger transport company in Norway and one of the leading bus companies in Europe. HMK Class offers a wide range of bus services, including charter buses, school buses, city buses and sightseeing buses.

In January 2023, the NFF announced the signing of a four-year partnership deal with HMK Class for an undisclosed fee, on-boarding it as its official bus partner. As per the deal, HMK Class provides bus services to the NFF’s national teams, including youth teams and women’s teams across all age groups. 

ScanSport

ScanSport is a Norwegian company that specialises in the sale of sports medical equipment. Founded in 2003, it is now one of the leading suppliers of sports medical equipment in Scandinavia.

The NFF announced the signing of ScanSport as its official sports medical equipment supplier in January 2023. The deal is reportedly worth around 40 million kr. As per the deal, ScanSport provides its products to the national teams across various age groups as well as to key NFF events, such as the Norway Cup. 

SAS

Founded in 1946, SAS, or Scandinavian Airlines, is a flag carrier airline of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and operates a fleet of over 70 aircrafts. 

In January 2023, SAS and the NFF announced a three-year partnership deal, with the former becoming the official provider of flight services to the latter and its national teams.  

Enimed

Founded in 1991, Enimed is an independent British pharmacy group headquartered in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. It is one of the largest independent pharmacy groups in the UK. 

In January 2023, Enimed and the NFF partnered to provide pharmacy services to the Norway national teams and other NFF-affiliated teams and events. The three-year deal also sees Enimed provide on-site pharmacy services at NFF events, while also working with the NFF to promote health and well-being among football players and fans.
