Paris 2024 partners with IDFM

Transport operator Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) has been roped in as an Official Partner of the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics (commonly referred to as “Paris 2024”).

The partnership will see IDFM deliver transport services for the Île-de-France region, which has 25 Olympic sites and 17 Paralympic sites. IDFM is set to increase the transport provided by the Transilien SNCF Voyageurs and RARP by 15% compared to a normal day. There will be around 1,000 buses and coaches set to carry an estimated 200,000 accredited passengers during the games.

IDFM will also be launching a smartphone app for transport in the Île-de-France region for the Games by “spring 2024” and create a new “Paris 2024 pass” to help the fans avoid long queues. The company will also have transport services for 4,000 wheelchair-bound spectators during the Olympics and 2,500 spectators during the Paralympic Games.
