Paris Saint-Germain tie up with Smart Good Things

French side sign a three-season agreement.

French club Paris Saint-Germain have announced on Thursday that they will invest €250,000 and donate 25% of their net turnover from the sale of the drinks by beverage company Smart Good Things to finance the Paris-Saint Germain Endowment Fund for children.

The French side announced that from October new club-themed wellness drinks will be available on the Smart Good Things website and will also be available at the official stores of the club.

The Paris Saint-Germain Foundation created the Endowment Fund which works towards providing educational, sporting and social help to underprivileged children. The fund receives significant donations from both companies and individuals alike, and since its inception, the organisation has provided help to more than 250,000 children till date.

The French beverage company Smart Good Things also serves as PSG’s Official Drink Partner.

Speaking about the collaboration, PSG’s Director of Partnerships, Marc Armstrong, said:

We welcome Smart Good Things to the great Paris Saint-Germain family. Innovation, health and well-being are part of our DNA and we are delighted to be able to work together on committed products, capable of responding to the increasingly shared desire to consume differently, in line with societal values, and strong ecological.

“The partnership with Smart Good Things will also allow us to strengthen and develop the initiatives led by our endowment fund in favour of sick or disadvantaged children.

Serge Bueno, founder of Smart Good Things, added:

We are happy and particularly honoured to be able to launch this product on the occasion of a first partnership with a legendary club, which has become a benchmark societal player both in living together – through the moments of collective emotions aroused by the events and sporting exploits of the club, the players – but also through the commitments of its Endowment Fund.

The partnership reiterates PSG’s goal of working towards a sustainable future and taking a pro-environmental stance, with them having constructed a vegetable garden at their training centre earlier this year.
