Pat Cummins: Brand endorsements

New Balance

Pat Cummins and New Balance have enjoyed a longstanding relationship, with Cummins wearing the latter’s gear and even promoting it on social media.

This relationship, which began over a decade ago, has also seen the humble Australian skipper refuse a six-digit sum from the American sportswear and sports equipment company in the past, feeling he couldn’t promote the company’s products effectively.

Gillette

Gillette Australia and Cummins have partnered with one another for a long time now, which sees the Australian seamer often take part in Gillette ad campaigns and promote the brand’s products on social media.

Cummins notably collaborated with Kiwi actor Julian Dennison for Gillette’s “The Facetime Call” campaign in 2022.

UNICEF Australia

Pat Cummins was announced as an ambassador of UNICEF Australia in December 2021 and has since volunteered his time to help protect children’s rights and raise awareness. As part of this partnership, Cummins participates in various global UNICEF campaigns.

Carrera

Safilo Group-owned Carrera Eyewear announced Cummins as a brand ambassador in October 2023. As per the deal, Cummins promotes the brand’s products.

Kayo Sports

Over-the-top (OTT) video streaming subscription service Kayo Sports on-boarded Pat Cummins to promote the company ahead of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Lyre’s Spirit

Lyre’s Spirit, a non-alcoholic beverage brand, teamed up with Cummins in July 2023 to promote the Dry July Foundation, which aims to spread the message of consumption of non-alcoholic beverages and raise funds for those affected by cancer.

Cummins was featured in a video for the brand and promoted the cause via Instagram.

Nexba

Cummins was announced as a Nexba shareholder and a brand ambassador of Goodness Group Global in July 2023. The player, thus, promotes companies that could be established under the Goodness Group umbrella apart from Nexba.

Cummins has also been seen promoting Nexba’s naturally-sugar-free soft drinks. 

WeAre8

WeAre8, a social media platform, also teamed up with Pat Cummins, who was featured on the “Get Real with Rio” interview series in May 2023, hosted by former professional footballer and Manchester United FC legend Rio Ferdinand.

Rario

Rario, a marketplace for digital cricket collectables, announced its partnership with Pat Cummins in November 2022, enabling fans of the Australian fast bowler to own his digital collectables. 

Cummins joined a list of noteworthy cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, Aaron Finch and Faf du Plessis among others who have partnered with Rario.

Dr Electrify

Pat Cummins, alongside former cricketer Rachael Haynes and Australian Football League aces Tom Hickey and Nicola Barr, backed Australian engineer and inventor Dr Saul Griffith’s electrification blueprint called “The Big Switch” in May 2022.

The “Big Switch” project aims at encouraging homes in Australia to substitute gas with electricity. Cummins backed the idea, promoting it via Instagram.

Mawde

Pat Cummins invested in and began promoting clothing brand Mawde in June 2021.

Gatorade

Energy drink manufacturing company Gatorade and Cummins teamed up for a promotional campaign in July 2020. This partnership saw the fast bowler provide viewers with a simple home workout that could be performed by everybody during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fox Cricket

Pat Cummins partnered with Australian broadcaster Fox Cricket to participate in a promotional campaign for the 2021/22 Ashes series.

David Jones

Pat Cummins appeared on the cover of the David Jones magazine after enjoying a stellar 2019. He opened up about the infamous “sandpaper” incident and his developmental years in the sport.

Exclusive Style

Clothing brand Executive Style roped in Pat Cummins to promote its products in March 2022. Cummins posed in the Exclusive Style attire and posted the same on his social media accounts. 

Smile Foundation

Pat Cummins teamed up with Smile Foundation South Africa, a non-profit organisation, in February 2018 to interact with underprivileged children and share information about education and health during childhood.

Optus Sport

The Australian group of sports channels previously partnered with Pat Cummins for an infomercial back in 2017, which aimed at promoting the idea of watching Australia’s matches without mobile data.

Several other cricketing stars like Kevin Pietersen, Nathan Lyon, Usman Khawaja and Mitchell Starc were brought in for the campaign.

Healthquad

Health and fitness platform Healthquad signed an agreement with Cummins in December 2021, on-boarding him as a brand ambassador. Cummins also joined the company as an investor.

Healthquad aims to improve health by allowing its users to track calorie intake, daily steps, sleep and more.

Hublot

Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has been endorsed by Cummins on multiple occasions. Cummins has also posted about his visits to the company’s landmark events in Australia.
