Prior to signing the contract in January 2022, the former Masters champion had spent several years as an equipment-free agent.

When Reed’s contract with Callaway, an American manufacturer of sporting equipment, came to an end in April 2018, he had the option of signing with another firm, but instead chose to play with a variety of brands. When he was affiliated with Callaway, he used to wear the company’s logo on his cap.

The foundation’s goal is to support numerous organisations in the local and national communities. In addition to supporting the country’s forces and veterans initiatives, it also sponsors youth golf programmes and organisations that help homeless youngsters.

Reed Scholarship

The Patrick Reed Scholarship was established in early 2019 through a collaboration between the Team Reed Foundation and the Southern Texas PGA Foundation. The scholarship honours graduating seniors and US$10,000 is given to each beneficiary annually to be used towards their college expenses.
