Popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile has announced the launch of the PUBG Mobile Partnership Program (PMPP), which is aimed around creating opportunities for players from all levels.
The PMPP will provide a platform for aspiring gamers in their quest to become professionals. It will help the aspiring gamers develop their skills and build a more sustainable professional industry in the region. The partnership will be first launched in Southeast Asia and guarantee slots for the teams in the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) and the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL).
There will be two seasons taking place in 2023 as part of the PMPP, with the Spring season starting in March 2023, while the fall season will kick off in August 2023. The top teams from both the seasons will be promoted to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC). The PUBG Mobile Super League SEA will be replacing the PMPL SEA championship, with the former now serving as the top-tier series in the region. The top teams from the PMPL will take part in both the PMPL and the PMSL.
The partner teams of the PMPP are yet to be announced.
James Yang, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, stated:
“We’re incredibly excited to kick off this new chapter in PUBG MOBILE Esports by launching the PUBG MOBILE Partnership Program. We have so many amazing teams across the world that have been a huge part of what makes PUBG MOBILE successful, and we now have the opportunity to work even closer with them. Through the Partnership Program and the respective PMSL, teams, players and fans will have a greatly improved experience as the opportunities pro teams can provide continue to grow.“
