Qatar Stars League extends Doha Bank partnership

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has announced a long-term extension of its strategic partnership agreement, main sponsorship, and league naming rights with Doha Bank.

The partnership, now set to run until 2030, will see the Qatari top flight of men’s football officially remain the “Doha Bank Stars League”, with Doha Bank reinforcing its commitment towards growing football in the country.

The bank will also continue to work with the league on marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and other commercial and fan engagement activations.

Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL, commented:

We’re proud to extend our strategic partnership with Doha Bank, which embodies a successful model of integration between national institutions in supporting Qatar sports. This extension underscores the mutual trust between the two parties and successes achieved during the first season, reinforcing our shared commitment to achieving even greater accomplishments. The launch of enhanced visual identity of Doha Bank Stars League, coinciding with this announcement, reflects our dedication to continuously develop the league’s brand and strengthen its presence to meet our future aspirations. Looking ahead, we anticipate launching more high-quality initiatives that’ll elevate fan experience, support clubs and solidify Doha Bank Stars League’s position as one of the leading football leagues in the region. We extend our gratitude to Doha Bank for its continued trust and look forward to continuing this collaboration until 2030, serving the development of Qatar football and achieving the shared goals of both parties.

Al Anoud Khalid Al Attiyah, Head of Marketing and Public Relations, Doha Bank, added:

At Doha Bank, we remain committed to supporting and sponsoring Qatar sports, whether in football, equestrian sports, tennis or other athletic disciplines, as part of a clear, long-term strategy implemented by the bank within its Corporate Social Responsibility framework. The extension of strategic partnership agreement between the two parties builds upon the success achieved by Doha Bank Stars League in previous seasons, thanks to the collaboration of all parties involved in sponsoring, supporting and organizing the league to ensure its success. We look forward to further enhancing this success in the coming seasons by extending the strategic partnership agreement, main sponsorship and naming rights to the league until 2030.

The extension of agreement underscores the commitment of QSL and Doha Bank to continue their joint efforts and build upon the successes achieved during the first season of agreement. This’ll contribute to the development of Qatar football and strengthen Doha Bank Stars League’s position both locally and regionally.
