Red Bull announce BMC Switzerland partnership

April 1, 2022

BMC Switzerland joins as an Official Partner.

Swiss bicycle and cycling products manufacturer BMC Switzerland has announced a multi-year partnership with Austrian Formula One team Red Bull Racing. The partnership grows on an already-existing partnership between BMC and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, which was signed in 2018.
As an Official Partner of Red Bull Racing, BMC will provide the F1 team’s drivers with bikes for their trackside reconnaissance and fitness. Additionally, the company will also provide its products to the travelling race team and staff at the Red Bull Technology Campus. Athletes from BMC and Red Bull’s drivers will also collaborate on joint activations.

Christian Horner, Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, commented:
“This new agreement takes an already hugely successful collaboration to a new level. We have been working closely with BMC for almost four years and the application of Formula 1 technologies to performance cycling has yielded some impressive results. Now we are building on that success to encompass a new partnership that will increase visibility, enhance engagement and connect fans of cycling and motor sport in new and exciting ways.”

David Zurcher, CEO of BMC Switzerland, added:
“Partnering with a high performance, like-minded organisation such as Oracle Red Bull Racing is a clear demonstration of our dedication to developing the fastest bikes in the world. Taking what has been an ongoing and inspiring high-tech collaboration between BMC and Red Bull Racing to the next level, allows us to elevate our performance and engineering capabilities and ultimately inspire both our fans and riders to ‘Create Speed’. We look forward to the exciting season ahead.”
