The five-year deal sees Oracle gain naming rights.
Austrian Formula One team Red Bull Racing have announced a five-year partnership with US technology giant Oracle. The F1 team is now set to be known as Oracle Red Bull Racing from the 2022 season onwards.
It is reported that the five-year deal is worth US$300 million. The deal will also grant Oracle’s branding visibility on the team’s new RB18 car.
Speaking about the partnership, Red Bull boss Christian Horner said:
“Oracle Cloud enabled us to make race day decisions that helped Max Verstappen win the 2021 Drivers’ Championship.
“Discovering and reacting to opportunities quickly is crucial to our success on and off the track, and Oracle is integral in that effort.
“Every element of our performance is driven by data analysis. Having Oracle as our title partner shows the confidence we have in their expertise and their ability to deliver a true competitive advantage.”

Red Bull have been partners with Oracle since 2021, which sees the Milton Keyes-based team use the Oracle Cloud in race strategy, engine development, fan experience and AI-powered driver training.
Oracle will now also work with the team on the Red Bull Powertrains program, focusing on engine development ahead of Formula One’s new power unit introduction in 2026.
The partnership between Oracle and Red Bull will also see the launch of the Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports team — a gaming team which will use OCI-powered analytics to optimise car set-up, improve race strategy and train the drivers.
