Red Bull Racing extends Isack Hadjar’s contract

Red Bull Racing has announced that they have extended the contract of their driver Isack Hadjar with the French-Algerian racer set to drive for Red Bull in 2027 as well. Hadjar joined Red Bull as a full-time driver at the start of Formula One 2026 season. By confirming Hadjar for 2027, Red Bull have confirmed their driver line-up for the Formula One 2027 season as well, with Max Verstappen having signed a contract extension a couple of weeks earlier. 

A former member of the Red Bull junior team, Hadjar raced in Formula 3, Formula 2 with Hitech Grand Prix and Campos Racing before being signed by Racing Bulls for the Formula One 2025 season. He picked up a podium in his debut season at the Dutch Grand Prix 2025. He made his debut for Red Bull at the start of Formula One 2026 season and has scored a podium this season at the Monaco Grand Prix 2026. Hadjar was on a seven-race scoring streak before the summer break but suffered an injury which saw him miss out on the resumption of the season. Former Red Bull driver Liam Lawson stood in for Hadjar for the last three races and Hadjar is set to return to Red Bull this weekend for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026.
