SACA extends Kookaburra partnership till 2031

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has announced a five-year extension of its partnership with cricket goods brand Kookaburra.

The Melbourne-based company will thus remain an Official Partner of SACA and Premier Grade Cricket until 2031. The extended partnership will see Kookaburra continue to supply cricket balls for SACA competitions and support Premier Cricket by providing player awards.

Kookaburra will also continue supporting the Women’s Premier Cricket Competition with its naming rights agreement, which dictates the tournament be officially known as the Kookaburra Women’s Premier Cricket Competition.

Sam Elliott, General Manager — Commercial, South Australian Cricket Association, commented:

Kookaburra is synonymous with cricket, and we are delighted to continue this partnership long-term. Partnering with such a respected brand means our players will benefit from exceptional quality, while also delivering important cost savings and efficiencies for our pathway programs. We’re thrilled to have Kookaburra on our team for another five summers.

Leigh Watts, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Kookaburra Sport, said:

This partnership is built on trust and shared values. We’re proud to continue our long-standing relationship with SACA and to support the players, coaches and volunteers who contribute so much to cricket across the state. Our focus extends beyond providing world?class products — we’re committed to helping nurture the game from grassroots through to the elite.
