Sam Kerr: Sponsorship deals | Brand endorsements

Samantha May Kerr is an Australian professional football player who plays for the Chelsea FC women’s team in the FA Women’s Super League and the Australian national women’s football team.

Kerr is arguably one of the greatest forwards of all time — and she’s not even 30 years old yet. She is the only player to have won the Golden Boot award in three different continents, while she has also been the top goalscorer for both her national team and the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the US. Known for her skill, speed and tenacity, Kerr is a complete forward and one of Australia’s greatest-ever players.

Ongoing deals

Nike

Kerr has had a footwear sponsorship deal in place with American sportswear and sports equipment giant Nike since 2018. 

EA Sports

EA Sports is a division of American video game company Electronic Arts that develops and publishes sports video games. In May 2022, the California-based company roped in Kerr as one of the cover stars for FIFA 23.

IWC Schaffhausen

IWC Schaffhausen is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer founded in 1868. A subsidiary of Swiss luxury goods holding company Richemont, IWC and Kerr signed a partnership deal in 2022. 

CommBank

CommBank, or the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, is a Sydney-based Australian multinational bank that provides a variety of financial services, including retail, insurance and fund management. It is the largest bank in the entire southern hemisphere.

In August 2021, CommBank announced the signing of Kerr as a brand ambassador on a multi-year deal.

JD Women

JD Women is an Australian shopping and retail company. The company roped in Kerr on a two-year contract in December 2020. 

Powerade

Powerade is a sports drink created and sold by The Coca-Cola Company as a direct competition to PepsiCo’s Gatorade brand. In June 2018, Powerade announced Kerr as one of its brand ambassadors via a social media post on the latter’s Instagram account. 

Supply Store

Supply Store is an Australian shopping and retail company with bases in Melbourne and Sydney. The company announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Kerr in July 2020. 

Hyundai Australia

Hyundai Motor Company is a South Korean automobile manufacturing company. Its Australian division, Hyundai Australia, as part of the run-in for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, roped in the Matildas captain on an year-long contract starting August 2018. 

PTP Fitness

PTP Fitness is an Australian online fitness equipment and accessories retailer. It manufactures and markets equipment and sportswear for home, gym and outdoors. In December 2018, PTP announced the signing of Kerr as a brand ambassador on a multi-year deal.
