Shubman Gill becomes MRF brand ambassador

Indian professional cricketer Shubman Gill has been revealed as a brand ambassador for MRF Limited, joining the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli as star Indian cricketing icons who have represented the Indian tyre maker.

Gill will be sporting the MRF logo on his bat going forward, with the partnership covering all formats of the game. The 25-year-old will also headline various digital and social media campaigns for the brand.

On joining the MRF family, Shubman Gill commented:

MRF is a brand synonymous with cricket’s growth in India and stands for quality, performance and excellence. A young cricketer like me has grown up watching cricketers create magic with the MRF bat. So, it’s an absolute pleasure to be part of such a legacy. I believe MRF stands for resilience and grit on and off the field. My endeavour through this partnership would be to continue striving for innings that help India stay on the top always.

KM Mammen, Chairman & Managing Director, MRF, added:

We are delighted to welcome Shubman to the MRF family for a relationship that will endure like other cricketing greats who have been associated with our organisation. Subhman plays a brand of cricket which is elegant and impactful, the leadership skills he is displaying are inspiring in all formats of cricket.
