Thane City FC to serve as the Premier League side’s International Academy Partners.
Premier League side Southampton FC have announced their first-ever Indian partnership, inking a deal with Thane City FC.
The partnership will see Thane City FC serve as Southampton’s International Academy Partners for the next three years.
Southampton will support Thane City in their development goals, and the Indian club will create a series of opportunities for the Thane City staff and players to work with the Southampton FC coaches via player development programmes.
Southampton Academy’s staff will also be visiting Thane yearly to work with their players, coaches and staff.
