Southampton FC renew 8×8 partnership

Southampton Football Club have announced a renewal of their partnership with 8×8, a California-based provider of Voice over IP products.

8×8 will thus continue to serve as an Official Partner of the Southampton men’s and women’s first teams for the 2025/26 season, with its cloud-based contact centre and communications technology supporting club operations and enhancing the matchday experience.

As part of the branding rights, 8×8 will enjoy exposure on the LED perimeter boards at St Mary’s Stadium as well as digital and social media integration across the Saints’ official channels. The two parties will also work on community initiatives, fan experiences, and technology-led engagement projects.

Huw Fielding, Director of IT at Southampton FC, commented:

8×8’s technology has become part of the way we operate – from supporting our ticketing and hospitality services to enabling unique experiences for our supporters. Renewing this partnership means we can keep raising the bar for how we connect with fans, on matchdays and throughout the year.

Jamie Snaddon, EMEA Managing Director at 8×8, added:

Southampton FC represents passion, dedication, and community – values that resonate deeply with us at 8×8. This partnership is about more than sponsorship. It’s about giving the club the tools to connect with supporters in ways that feel personal, whether that’s answering a fan’s question, delivering a matchday update, or creating a memorable surprise. We’re proud to keep building those moments together.
