Teams in the bottom half of LaLiga have had their fair share of financial struggles over the last decade or so, with many of their talented stars leaving the shores for bigger wages, or getting poached by one of the three big dogs in Real Madrid CF, Atlético de Madrid, and FC Barcelona.
With all that struggle, how much are some of those lying at the foot of the wage bill making? In this listicle, we’ll take a look at the ten LaLiga EA Sports players who earn the least from their playing wages.

Gross p/w: €32,115 | Gross p/y: €1.67 million
Matteo Gabbia is a promising centre-back on loan at Villarreal CF from AC Milan.
A Milan academy product, Gabbia made 39 senior appearances for the Rossoneri before joining Villarreal on a season-long loan deal in July 2023.
With a gross salary of €32,115 per week, the 24-year-old centre-back is the tenth-lowest-paid player in LaLiga.

The Algeria international joined Villarreal CF in July 2021 after five seasons with Real Betis.
A strong centre-back who can also operate as a right-back, Mandi is a regular starter for the Algerian national football team. Tied to a four-year deal with the Yellow Submarine until June 2025, the 32-year-old is currently paid €30,769 in weekly wages.

Gonzalo Villar is a 25-year-old central midfielder. Following loan spells with Getafe and Sampdoria, he joined Granada on a permanent deal in August 2023 that fetches him €29,615 per week.

Chimy Ávila is a 29-year-old Argentine forward who plays for CA Osasuna. Since joining the club in 2019, Ávila has scored 23 goals in 87 appearances across all competitions for Los Rojillos.
In August 2022, Ávila signed a new four-year deal which should keep him at the club until June 2026.

This 30-year-old attacking midfielder from Rayo Vallecano is currently tied to a five-year deal with a weekly salary of €27,885.

Often regarded as one of Columbia’s finest players of all time, the now-37-year-old Radamel Falcao plied his trade all over Europe before arriving at Rayo Vallecano.
The Columbia international joined Rayo on a free transfer in September 2021 on a three-year deal, with his gross weekly salary of €23,077 making him the fifth-lowest-paid player in LaLiga.

Rúben Garcia has been a regular starter for Osasuna ever since joining them in October 2020. The 30-year-old left-winger is currently tied to a four-year deal with the club, which is set to expire by the end of this season.

Jeremías Ledesma, a 30-year-old Argentine goalkeeper, plays as the starting keeper for Cádiz CF. Following eight seasons with Argentine club Rosario Central, Ledesma joined Càdiz in 2021.
Ledesma signed a new three-year extension deal in August 2023, which fetches him €16,154 per week.

Stole Dimitrievski is a 29-year-old North Macedonian goalkeeper who plays as the starting goalie for Rayo Vallecano.
In January 2020, Dimitrievski signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Los Franjirrojos, which fetches him a weekly salary of €12,692 and will keep him at the club until June 2024.

Unai López is a 30-year-old professional Spanish defensive midfielder for Rayo Vallecano. Tied to a two-year deal set to run until June 2024, López is currently the lowest-paid player in LaLiga with a weekly salary of €10,385.
