Poker is amongst the most engaging card games ever. It requires skills; it requires patience and, of course, a truckload of alertness. Over the years, Poker’s fandom has increased many folds, and of course, it is also slowly breaking the geographical boundaries of the world due to the online platforms. Poker is also becoming pretty gender-neutral, with so many women players emerging from across the globe. Let us take a quick look at the ladies who are making strong marks in the world of Poker.

Vanessa Selbst (U.S.A.) – Despite taking retirement in 2018, Vanessa Selbst is still considered the best woman poker player in the world. She is the only woman to reach no.1 ranking in the World Poker Index. In the last few years of playing, She won a total of $11.8 Million in cash in live games.

Kathy Liebert (U.S.A.) – A regular in Poker for almost 20 years, Kathy Liebert has won multiple cash games worth nearly $250,000 on four separate occasions. Her highest win was at the Party Poker Million in 2002 when she won the $1 Million first prize. Her total cash win amounts to almost $6.2 Million.

Annie Duke (U.S.A) – The only woman to win the N.B.C. National Heads-Up Poker Championship, Annie Duke, has been on top for many years. In, 2004 she won a massive $2 Million Prize in the WSOP Tournament of Champions. Her approximate total cash win is around $4.3 Million.

Annete Obrestad (Norway) – She is the youngest person to win the World Series of Poker Bracelet in 2007 and has earned more than $2 Million in cash. She is a talent to look out in future competitions as well. Her total cash win is around $3.9 Million.

Liv Boaree (U.K.) – One of the youngest persons on the list, Liv Boaree or the “Iron Maiden,” has had a really impressive poker career after learning to play on a T.V. reality show from Phil Hellmuth. Her most significant achievement was winning almost $1.7 Million in the EPT Sanremo 2010.

Maria Constanza Lampropulos (Argentina) – The 39-year-old has been involved with Poker since 2014 and has grown into a top player in just a few years. Her most significant success came in Nottingham when she came out on top against 7,000 other entrants. Her total cash win is around $3 Million.

Maria Ho (Taiwanese-American) – Having a 15-year experience of playing Poker at the highest level, Maria can be considered as a veteran and has won many cash events so far. Her best performance came when she won 8 huge cash wins in the 2014 WSOP. Her total cash win is around $3 Million.

Loni Harwood (U.S.A.) – Trained by her Father, Loni took the poker world by a storm when she won the WSOP circuit rings in 2012. In 2013, she was only the 2nd woman to make three final tables and win a bracelet. Her total cash win is around $2.9 Million.
