English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers has recently announced a partnership extension of their long-standing agreement with British local taxi provider Wednesfield Cars. As a partner of the club, Wednesfield Cars will continue to have branding across Wolves’ home ground at the Molineux along with continuing to work with the fans on various engagement activities and activations. Wednesfield Cars will continue to provide transport services for the academy and women’s first-team as the partnership extension sees the two stay together for 35 years.
Dave Thomson, Head of Partnerships, Wolverhampton Wanderers, commented,
“Thirty-five years is a remarkable milestone, and it’s a great reflection of the trust, commitment, and unwavering support that has built this partnership across four decades. This relationship has been incredibly important to the Club over the years, providing a dependable, trusted operation behind the scenes, supporting the day to day running of the club’s academy, and we look forward to celebrating another significant landmark together during the club’s 150th season.”
Jim Sharma, Owner of Wednesfield Cars, added,
“For 35 years, our family business has proudly supported the club, the academy and the wider Wolverhampton Community. We’re really pleased to continue the partnership into what we hope is going to be a successful anniversary season.”
