Partnership to entail production of limited-edition cards.
Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed a multi-year deal with trading card publishers, Futera. The brand has been in the industry for the past 32 years and is recognised as one of the world’s finest producers of limited-edition collectible cards.
A statement on Futera’s website read as follows:
“We are delighted to announce that Futera has signed a Licence with Wolverhampton Wanderers which will see high-end football cards releasing for the Club this season.
“Wolves are one of the most exciting clubs in England, with a superb fanbase and a great footballing heritage.
“We’re looking forward to creating cards for their stars such as Adama Traore, Pedro Neto, Raul Jimenez, Ruben Neves, Fábio Silva, Francisco Trincão and Hee Chan Hwang to name but a few.
“As part of the upcoming Futera UNIQUE-Live release, you can expect weekly-release Limited Edition cards including Base cards, Parallels, Rookies, on-card player Autographs, players’ game-used memorabilia, 24ct gold plated framed cards, and the rarest ‘1 of 1’ cards where only one of each player’s special card will exist worldwide.”
Previously, the brand had also released cards of former Wolves legend Steve Bull in September that were signed by the man himself. The pictures of the same were shared on Futera’s social media handles.
