Women’s Asia Cup 2026 finds new partner in Excitel Broadband

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has roped in Indian fiber-to-the-home broadband network, Excitel Broadband as a partner of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2026. The agreement will see Excitel Broadband have on-ground presence during the event and will have broadcast visibility as well for the Sony LIV and other Sony Sports Network channel viewers.

The Women’s Asia Cup 2026 is the 10th edition of the Women’s Asia Cup and is taking place in the United Arab Emirates with eight teams battling it out for the title. The tournament is taking place between August 28, 2026 and September 13, 2026.

Varun Pasricha, CEO, Excitel Broadband, commented,

“Women’s cricket is no longer waiting to be noticed. India is winning, audiences are watching, and brands are backing the game. From pitch to primetime, women’s cricket is having its moment. As a brand for the young, we aim to be a part of this momentum and celebrate the women who are redefining the game, both on and off the field.”

Aditya Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Excitel Broadband, said,

“Women’s cricket has grown significantly over the last few years, both in terms of the audiences it attracts and the attention it receives. With the Indian women’s team winning the World Cup last year and viewership continuing to rise, the DP World Women’s Asia Cup gave Excitel an opportunity to be part of this journey. It is a moment for the sport, its players and its audiences, and we are happy to play a small part in supporting that momentum.”
