The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has roped in Indian fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband network Excitel Broadband as an official partner of the ongoing Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026.

The agreement will see Excitel Broadband enjoy on-ground presence during the event as well as have broadcast visibility via SonyLIV and Sony Sports Network channels broadcasts.

The 2026 Women’s T20 Asia Cup is the tenth edition of the tournament and is taking place in the United Arab Emirates, with eight teams battling it out for the title.

Varun Pasricha, CEO, Excitel Broadband, commented:

“Women’s cricket is no longer waiting to be noticed. India is winning, audiences are watching, and brands are backing the game. From pitch to primetime, women’s cricket is having its moment. As a brand for the young, we aim to be a part of this momentum and celebrate the women who are redefining the game, both on and off the field.”

Aditya Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Excitel Broadband, said:

“Women’s cricket has grown significantly over the last few years, both in terms of the audiences it attracts and the attention it receives. With the Indian women’s team winning the World Cup last year and viewership continuing to rise, the DP World Women’s Asia Cup gave Excitel an opportunity to be part of this journey. It is a moment for the sport, its players and its audiences, and we are happy to play a small part in supporting that momentum.”
