Indian professional tennis player Yuki Bhambri stars in the latest Fanta ad alongside Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, one of its brand ambassadors. The new advertisement is a part of Fanta’s new campaign for its Apple Delite flavour.
The new campaign has been conceptualised by Ogilvy and sees Aaryan as a spectator, watching Bhambri play. As Bhambri lines up to serve, he is disturbed by this loud noise. Bhambri looks up to the stand to see where the munching noise is coming from, only to find Aaryan’s character drinking the new Apple Delite flavour. The crunching noise sticks with Apple Delite’s tagline — “Iss drink mein apple ki bite hai”
Ritu Sharda, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India (North), commented on the campaign:
“Fanta is all about colourful people. And the new Fanta Apple Delite gives the people some more ammunition to transform everyday situations into loads of fun. It’s a drink with a twist. The simple use of the sound of the apple bite not only brings alive the apple flavour but also adds some crazy to our world brought alive here by Kartik Aaryan.”
Tish Condeno, senior director – sparkling flavours, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, added:
“In line with our vision of ‘Beverages for life’ and staying focused on the evolving taste and preferences of our consumers today, we decided to foray into the Apple flavour segment. Furthermore, our innovation priorities and extensive research led us to bring in a refreshing twist to sparkling apple with the new Fanta Apple Delite.
“Kartik brings his own zest and energy to the brand in a delightful way. The bright, summer scenes from our latest commercial, remind our consumers to stay at their playful best, despite the challenging scenarios.”
