Zee nets Serie A broadcast rights for Indian subcontinent

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has acquired the exclusive broadcast and digital rights for Serie A, Italy’s top division of men’s professional club football, as well as the country’s flagship cup competitions Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

The five-year broadcast agreement covers not just India but also Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. Kicking off this month with the start of the 2026/27 season, the deal will see Zee5 showcase the games digitally, while the Unite8 Sports channels will broadcast them on television.
