Zee nets Serie A broadcast rights for India and subcontinent

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. has acquired the exclusive broadcast and digital rights for Italy’s top-tier football league, Serie A and also the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana competitions. The partnership sees Zee not only acquire the rights for India but also Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. The five-year rights agreement kicks off from August 2026 and Zee5 will showcase the games digitally while their Unite8 Sports channels will broadcast it across television medium. Zee will showcase the live games, highlights and other content as well.
