New Zealand Cricket (NZC), the country’s governing body for cricket, has announced a six-year agreement with media and telecommunications conglomerate Sky.

The partnership will see Sky broadcast all home games of the Black Caps and the White Ferns on its channels, starting with the 2026/27 season until the end of the 2031/32 season.

The deal will bring the home games of New Zealand’s national teams to Sky for the first time since 2020.

Scott Weenink, Chief Executive, New Zealand Cricket, commented:

We’re delighted to form this new partnership with Sky and to be able to ensure the best possible access for Kiwi-based fans. We look forward to working with Sky to continue to deliver outstanding production values and cutting-edge technology for the benefit of all supporters. We have an amazing relationship with TVNZ and we’re looking forward to continuing and developing that relationship over the balance of our agreement, and potentially after that in respect of free-to-air T20Is and the Dream11 Super Smash.

Sophie Moloney, Chief Executive, Sky, said:

Sport fans across New Zealand love their cricket, and we are delighted to be bringing BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS home internationals back to Sky and our valued customers. Sky and NZC are committed to delivering BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS home internationals to New Zealanders in ways that work for them, including a free-to-air component. Details of the broadcast arrangements will be announced closer to start of the 2026-27 season.
