Here are the 8 prime sponsors of the UEFA Champions League for the 2019-2020 season.
Nissan – The automaker, Nissan, became an official partner of the UEFA Champions League in 2014. In September 2017, the deal was extended for the 2018-21 cycle. As per the contract, the association also includes the UEFA Super Cup in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
PS4 – Sony’s PlayStation has been a sponsor of the UEFA Champions League since 1997. If not extended, this association will end after the 2020-2021 season.
Gazprom – In 2012, Globally known Russian Energy firm, Gazprom, joined forces with the UEFA Champions League. Their association was later extended in February 2018 for three seasons.
Lay’s – Pepsico, the company behind Lay’s chips, joined forces with the UEFA Champions League in 2015.
Banco Santander – One of the world’s largest financial services companies, Banco Santander, became an official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League in 2017.
Mastercard – Leading global payments and technology company, Mastercard, began sponsoring the UEFA Champions League in 1994.
Hotels.com – Expedia Group’s brand – Hotels.com was chosen as one of the eight sponsors of the UEFA Champions League in 2018.
Heineken – Since 1994, Heineken has been supporting the UEFA Champions League as one of its main sponsors.
Other than these brands, Adidas and Hublot too sponsor the UEFA Champions League. They serve as the official ball sponsor and official time-keeper respectively.
