RAJASTHAN ROYALS 2021 SPONSORS

The Rajasthan Royals won hearts and took everyone by surprise when they won the first-ever IPL back in 2008. Since then, however, things have not gone quite well for them. Having finished bottom of the table in last year’s IPL, things could go all but up for the Royals. Here’s a list of their sponsors going into the 2021 Indian Premier League.

PRINCIPAL SPONSORS

Reliance Jio – The Mumbai-based Indian telecom giant has maintained a sponsorship deal with all eight teams across the IPL since the 2018 season. For RR, Jio is set to be a Principal Sponsor for the 2021 IPL and its logo will be emblazoned at the back of the team’s matchday shirt. In August 2020, Jio exclusive released a three-part documentary, titled Inside Story: A season with the Rajasthan Royals, that covers the side’s 2019 IPL season.

KEI Wires & Cables – The New Delhi-based wires and cables manufacturer has been a Principal Sponsor to RR since the 2018 season. The two have worked on several ad campaigns centred around RR’s star players. KEI’s logo appears at the front of RR’s matchday shirt, on the top left corner.

BKT – Ahead of the 2021 IPL season, Mumbai-based tire manufacturer BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited) signed a sponsorship deal with seven out of eight teams (Sunrisers Hyderabad excluded) in March 2021 to become their Official Tire Partner. For RR, BKT will also serve as a Principal Sponsor, with its logo featuring on the back of the team’s matchday shirt.

Red Bull – RR partnered with the Austrian energy drink giant in March 2019 with focus on the annual T20 college cricket tournament, Red Bull Campus Cricket, which has since also served the team as a source for potential talent. Red Bull’s logo also features on the sleeves of RR’s matchday shirt since the 2020 IPL.

Expo 2020 Dubai – Expo 2020 is set to return as RR’s title (principal front-of-shirt) sponsor for the 2021 IPL. For over 170 years, World Expos have been a celebration of cultures, collaborations, and multi-faceted innovations from countries all over the world. The Title Sponsorship was previously announced in January 2020 to cover the 2020 IPL, but was called off because of the coronavirus pandemic, which delayed both the Expo and the IPL. Expo 2020 is now scheduled for 1 Oct, 2021 – 31 Mar, 2022.

ASSOCIATE SPONSORS

Studds – The Faridabad-headquartered helmets and motorcycle accessories manufacturer has recently signed a deal to become an Associate Sponsor of RR. The initial two-year deal will see Studds’ logo appear on the side of RR’s matchday helmets, hats, and caps.

Colgate – The dental care brand was announced as the Official Smile and Oral Hygiene Partner of six out of eight IPL teams – excluding CSK and RCB – in September 2020 in a two-year deal. The deal is aimed at lifting the public’s spirits with a smile and optimism amidst the coronavirus pandemic. For RR, Colgate’s logo can be seen on the back of the players’ matchday caps, hats, and helmets.

Goel TMT – The Raipur-based integrated steel venture joins the RR sponsorship portfolio as an Associate Sponsor ahead of the 2021 IPL.

Goel Pipes – Further strengthening their ties with the Goel Group, RR have also signed up Tilda Newra-based pipes manufacturer Goel Pipes as an Associate Sponsor for the 2021 IPL. Goel’s brands will feature on the team’s trousers throughout the tournament.

OFFICIAL PARTNERS

Kingfisher – Kingfisher is a long-time sponsor of RR. Working with the team, Kingfisher creates co-branded promotional content and offer exclusive unique experience opportunities to the RR fans.

Dream11 – Apart from being an Official Partner to the IPL itself, the Mumbai-headquartered Indian fantasy sports platform serves as the designated fantasy sports partner to six out of eight teams in the tournament, excluding KKR and RCB.

Kotak – The Mumbai-headquartered banking products and financial services provider serves as an Official Partner to RR since September 2020. As per the deal, Kotak has designed RR-themed debit and credit cards for the team’s supporters.

MX TakaTak – The Mumbai-based content creating platform has signed exclusive content and sponsorship deals with seven teams – excluding CSK – ahead of IPL 2021. The deal will see these teams create exclusive digital content on the platform throughout the course of the partnership.

GoPro – The California-based action cameras and video-editing software maker joins the RR sponsorship portfolio ahead of the 2021 IPL. GoPro cameras will be used for social media content and during training sessions.

OFFICIAL SUPPLIERS

Yellow Panther – The Manchester-based web development and animations expert serves as an Official Supplier to RR and oversees the development and maintenance of their official website.

Sportz Interactive – Sportz Interactive is a sports-focused content and technology solutions provider based in Mumbai.


Interactive Avenues –
The Mumbai-based digital marketing company became an Official Supplier of RR in January 2020. It oversees management and regulation of RR’s social media channels, including planning and execution of their video-first content strategy.
