Indian dairy giant Amul has been announced as an Official Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, as well as the Presenting Partner of the Weightlifting, Para Powerlifting, and Boxing competitions to be held at the event.
Amul will promote its milk and dairy products through the partnership as well as serve as an Official Supporter of Commonwealth Sport.
The 2026 Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held between July 23 and August 2, 2026, in Glasgow, Scotland. The Para Powerlifting event is scheduled to take place on July 24, with Weightlifting scheduled for July 26–30 and Boxing to be held from July 24 to August 1.
The Indian contingent at CWG 2026 features a total of 191 athletes. It will field a total of 14 boxers across the men’s and women’s Boxing categories, led by Lovlina Borgohain, Jasmine Lamboria, Parveen Hooda, and Sachin Siwach. There will be seven Indian athletes across the Para Powerlifting categories, including Suman Devi, Jaspreet Kaur, and Kasthuri Rajamani, while there are 12 Indian weightlifters led by Mirabai Chanu, Dilbag Singh, Lovepreet Singh, and Harjinder Kaur.
