Arsenal Football Club have appointed Web 3.0 platform LABS Group as their official hotel and resorts membership partner in Asia and Europe.

Hotels and resorts can develop timeshare programmes using LABS Group’s blockchain-powered Staynex digital marketplace, which is scheduled to start in 2023. Users of the website will be able to purchase discounted access to rooms for a set length of time using the company’s NFTs.

As part of the agreement with Arsenal, LABS Group will receive a package of Staynex brand marketing and activation rights across their assets.

Commenting on the deal, Bernard Lau, Chief Executive of LABS Group, said:

“Partnering with Arsenal is not only an honour, but it’s also a dream come true to be associated with such a successful and historical football club.

“This will accelerate our vision of combining the hospitality industry with global brands, in a way that has not been done before.

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer of Arsenal FC, also added:

“We’re delighted to welcome Labs Group to the Arsenal family as they prepare to launch this new product in the New Year.

“Our reach around the world is going to be an important part of them growing this new business.
